Orrin has a request of Arya. In order for him to ally himself with the Varden, he needs and wants an heir. A powerful one. Therefore he requires a powerful woman to be the mother. He demands Arya be that woman. He declares that unless she lays with him and bears him a child, he will deny the Varden his aid.
