"The Crown is concerned about the rise in crime in this area, and I've been sent to aid in addressing it. I plan to act on my own authority as needed, but this is your fief and I will take any specific concerns you would like me to address under advisement."

Baron Fuller nodded. "I see. It will be good to have another able pair of hands, my guards are overwhelmed. The key areas of concern I think would be suited to you and your position are the slums and the forest. The former are difficult for the guards to police, as any troublemakers simply need to avoid the guard. The latter would need a large group of guards to properly investigate, and we don't have the numbers to send expeditions out, but a combatant of your skill should be safe."
