Finding Edin

The book she'd brought was about the history of a kingdom to the south that was subsumed by one of her ancestors, interesting read once you got past all the overt and more subtle propaganda. You were happy to keep reading but Ana sat up and kissed you mid paragraph on the logistical failings that made the subsuming an act of benevolence rather than aggressive annexing.

"Sorry Harea, work to do." Ana said standing up and stretching her legs. As she did you finally made note of what she was wearing and it was remarkably familiar.

"Is that my uniform shirt?" You'd left it at her estate in the first few weeks here, you do seeing it in her bed at some point but not since then.

She looked down at her shirt and blushed for a moment. "Of course not." She patted your head. "Now you should go and find Edin. He's been pining for you but no sex, he needs a break for a few days."

"What did you do to him?" You asked standing up, leaving the book on the lounge.

She didn't answer but there was a faint smile on her lips and she stretched her arms above herself, making your shirt ride up and expose her ass, which was then pushed out as she stretched her back by leaning forwards. "Nothing you wouldn't approve of, I know he's yours now."

At those words you ed something she was supposed to have done. "Did you talk to Blue about confessing her feelings to Edin?"

Ana pouted at her very obvious showing off not working to her liking. "I did but I don't know if she did." Her arm went back to her sides and she turned to face you. "You'll have to ask them."

You gave her a peck on the lips and put your hand on her ass. "My clothes do look good on you." You said adding a slight pinch to the groping.

Ana cleared her throat. "I've no idea what you mean." She kissed you this time. "Tell Lady Demise to stop hover when you leave, I promise I'll go and, check in with Lashay." She sighed dramatic before saying her fiancé's name.

There was a noise from outside that might have been amused disbelief. "I'll be sure to tell her." You let go of Ana with one last kiss and make your way to the door. You open it find Lady Demise standing outside it. "Lady Demise, did you need to speak with Princess Anastasia?" Your mock shock earned a chuckle from Ana.

"Actually I am here to make sure you don't leave her stinking of your cum when she goes to talk with her fiancé." The matter of fact delivery really undercut the self-assigned mirth you'd felt at the mock greeting. "Lord Edin is this way." She turned just as you saw a satisfied smirk ghost across her lips. You weren't sure if you would actually be led to Edin or to Aurora but followed anyway, not like you'd have much like finding him yourself. You waved at Ana who was taking off you shirt. That sight had a lot more of an effect on your than you'd have thought. "Christopher."

"Right." You hurried after Lady Demise. She didn't take you towards the front of the palace but to towards the side. Not somewhere you'd been before but at least not towards Aurora. Stumbling in on you, Mary and Green intentionally or not it was going to take you a moment to be able to look the Queen in the face.

"I'd appreciate if you were more delicate with my daughter than you have been." Lady Demise said while walking you. You didn't think you spanked Green that hard last night, certainly not from how much she giggled as you did. "Blue is not as mature as my others, despite how you treat her."

Oh right that daughter. Though you don't ever being all that indelicate with her either. "Did something happen?" Maybe she did confess to Edin and he turned her down. That'd be the worst case, hopefully not the most likely.

"I'm sure you'll learn soon enough." Lady Demise's tone was a lot less amused than it had been.

Maybe not the most unlikely case then, shit. You thought as Lady Demise opened a door and waited for you to walk inside. You hesitated for a moment. "Is she here?" Lady Demise didn't answer, just gave you a look that said to get inside. So you did.

The room was smaller, less than half of Ana's bedroom and a lot more sparse with less lighting. The bed was a small, there was a little closet and basin with water in it. The window was also small, unlike most other rooms it wasn't large enough to be a door to the outside the only light for the room and not brightening up much. Staff quarters. Why would Edin be ... uh oh. "Blue?" You asked looking around the room a little closer.

On the bed, underneath the covers was a shape. A small, shape that could be either Edin or Blue. If it was Edin Ana had really undersold the degree of 'no sex til recovered', if it was Blue Edin had turned her down, she was depressed and you might be getting stabbed.

You walk over, hoping to get enough of an angle to see some hair. Sadly whoever it was was bodily under the covers. "You ok?" You standing out of knife reach of the bed.

The person shifts and you take a tiny step backwards. "Christopher?"

Oh it's Edin. You sit on the bed and pull the covers down from over his head. He blinks at the light and groans. "Hung over?" That explains the room and the covers. He nods and pulls the covers back over his head with a groan. You smile and pat him through the material. "Big night?" You hadn't seen him at the party, maybe he and Blue had been drinking so she'd have the courage to confess. "Anything happen?"

"Got engaged." He mumbled softly enough that your didn't catch what he'd said clearly enough to just assume he said what you think he said.

"What was that?" You asked, as you did the door opened and the smell of food flooded the room. You looked over to see Blue standing in the doorway with a tray. She had a very broad smile on her face that feel the moment she saw you sitting on Edin's bed patting him.

"What are you doing here?" She demanded charging in and putting the tray on the bed by Edin, nudging you out of the way with it until you stood up and she took your place.

Ok this is not how you were expecting things to go. "Are you too engaged?" You asked as Edin surfaced and Blue fed him a some berries.

"Yes." Blue said, she looked at you with a look of pure victory.

"That's great news. I'm really happy for the two of you." Your honest joy at hearing that made her look falter a little.

"Yes well." Blue looked back at Edin and stroked his hair, feeding him a few more berries. "Thank you." She really was not expecting you to this.

You stood there suddenly having very little to say. Blue and Edin were engaged. Which means he'll probably be spending a lot less time with you, and probably won't be living in your room anymore, and won't be as easy to spend time with. Blue's momentary look of victory stuck a retroactive cord with you. You hadn't thought they'd be engaged, more open with affection sure, but not engaged. You're in love with Edin and Blue kinda hates you, is he really going to spend time with you if his wife says he can't. "What had Ana said about it?"

Both of them pause and shift a little. "I haven't spoken with yet. She is more focused on her own fiancé right now." Blue said helping Edin to drink some water.

Did she get him too drunk to refuse her proposal? "Right, she's going to see Lashay now, maybe you should talk with her afterwards." You said planning on getting her away from him to make sure he's fully aware of what happened.

Blue clenched her fist and you saw a flare of anger in her aura. You're right about her getting him too drunk to refuse. "I'm sure her future husband will take more than a few moment of her time." Blue said. "And Edin still needs help recovering. Why don't you leave me and my fiancé alone while he recovers from last night?"

"No he can stay." Edin said hurriedly. The food and water helped him to recover enough for some situational awareness to return to him. He gave you a bright smile, the worry you'd been feeling for him melted into affection on seeing how happy your presence made him. "Maybe you should go and tell Anastasia, you did say she'd suggested you propose."

That is not at all what you'd suggested Ana do.

Blue looked from Edin to you and her mood soured. "Fine." She stood and walked past you, stopping to whisper into your ear. "You're not allow to touch him unless I say so from now on." She stormed out of the room leaving you alone with Edin, who flinched at the sound of the door slamming.

You sat next to him and stroked his cheek earning a dopey smile across his face. "Hello Sir." He said leaning into you hand.

"Hello Princess." You're response earned a slight shiver of pleasure from him. "So you and Blue are engaged." You wanted to make sure he was fully aware of that.

"Yeah." His dopey smile shifted into a more normal happy one. "She asked to drink with me last night and then ..." He trailed off, the alcohol had clearly done it's job of making him hazy. "She asked and I said yes."

You weren't so sure. Your Edin shouldn't be plied with alcohol until he can't think clearly then made to agree to something. "And you want to get married to her?"

Edin thought for a moment. If he says 'no' there is nothing Blue can do or say that is going to stop you from making it clear she doesn't see him anymore. You don't want her to dislike you but you won't tolerate her taking advantage of someone you love. "I think I do." He kissed your hand still holding his cheek. "I mean, we've know each other for years and, done a lot of things together. She taught me a lot about how to feel good, and make you feel good Sir." His cheek grew red and the next kiss on your hand took your thumb into his mouth for a quick lick. "And I know we can't get married." Ah so that was it, he was marry her since the two of you can't be married. That's not an issue, you are sure you could get permission from Aurora. And if there is a law about it you'll work on changing it. "I've been in love with her ages."

The words kinda bounced off your head while you thought about how to get around the marriage issue.

"Not like I love you Sir. I mean when I'm around you I feel hot and desperate and want you to control me." He kissed your thumb again, softly biting it between his teeth. "But when I'm with Blue, I feel all warm and my tummy gets weird. Ana said that was how she felt around you."

Maybe marriage was a part of Ana's plan to control Blue. She'd been holding Edin over Blue with the implicate threat of taking him away to keep her in line, for all that worked. You demanding that finish before they left on the trip must have made her think of a new way to control her, if they were married ... how could that help her? Edin would be at best equally tied to the two of them but a wife has if nothing else a more legal hold on him.

"Do you want us to get married Sir?" Edin asked looking up at you with big eyes and biting your thumb, pulling your back into the moment.

"Sorry what did you say?" You asked having missed most of whatever he'd been on about.

"Do you want me to marry Blue? I'll break off the engagement if you tell me too." There were a lot of emotions swirling through aura. Way too many and far too complex for you to parse his honest feelings but the thread of concern was clearly apparent.

You opened your mouth to tell him to do just that when the door opened.

Blue stood in it glaring at your hand on his cheek. "I couldn't find Anastasia however several nobles were asking about you Lord Christopher. You should go and talk with them. Now." She stormed over and nudged you away from Edin picking at the food to go back to feeding him as a cover for getting you away from him.

You stood up and looked at the two. Lady Demise's words about her daughter being immature and how you should be delicate with her struck you, likely becasue you felt a presence in the doorway radiating malice. "Yes I think Lord Christopher should come with me." Lady Demise's voice was very cold. Apparently you had been worried about the wrong family member stabbing you.

You looked Edin, still awaiting confirmation of you approval. Blue wasn't looking at you anymore, Edin was her sole focus and the happiness on her face was making you feel a lot worse than it should be, you did feel kinda justified in making sure this was fully consensual. "I'm," you look at Lady Demise who was glowering at you, then back at Edin and Blue. He'd looked at her to accept some water and you saw a look on his face. It was like a spell had broken in your brain. Your concern and worry just melted away when you saw his smile at her. At that point you ed what he'd said about love that you had previously ignored. "Happy for you." You said taking a seat on the bed earning a glare from Blue but you held up your hand in surrender. "Edin I love you and want you to be happy, and Blue make you happy, and I know you make Blue happy." The two looked at each other and her glare soften in a moment. "If Ana doesn't agree whole heartedly I'll have words with her."

"I assure you Anastasia's opinion is irrelevant." Lady Demise sounded less, stabbing you in the neck the moment the door closes now.

"Thank you Sir." Edin said bright. He looked at Blue and gave her the puppy eyes that had broken your will more than once.

"Thank you." Blue said through gritted teeth. You aren't sure if she'll ever like you but fingers crossed she stops hating you.

You stand up and leave the room. Lady Demise closes the door and you feel her glaring at you. "If you ever hurt my daughter I don't care how my charge feels for you or how possible it is, you will be dead before the day is over."

"I completely believe you." You know how durable you are, so you doubt you'll die, but you believe fully she will commit herself to find a way to do it. "Wait your charge is Queen Aurora, what do you mean 'feels for you'?"

"You are going to be fathering several of her grandchildren." The attempt to embarrass or distract you with that possibility was no successful becasue for the first moment in what might be her entire life Lady Demise blinked in having given something away. "Follow." She walked away.

You were about to pry further at possible feelings when the determined murdering popped into you head. You shut your mouth and followed after her.
