You couldn't believe you had done it. You had been thinking about asking for a open relationship for awhile but you were always too nervous. You figured your partner would be hurt and upset and it would lead to a big fight. It was growing more and more on your mind until it finally came out.
Your partner wasn't upset like you feared, just a little confused. After you had a conversation about it they will still a bit unsure (or so they said) but were willing to give it a try.
